Woodruff Academy

One of the major disadvantages of home schooling is that many group activities and classes are unavailable. In addition to correspondence programs, Woodruff Academy offers optional electives to home school students at our Winter Park campus. Students are welcome to enroll in band, art, dance, or PE classes for a monthly fee. Home schoolers may also enroll in math and science classes at the Academy, without necessarily enrolling as a full-time student.

WA also provides annual assessments for our home school students, and those students who register with WA will not need to register their schooling with the county where they reside.

Additional Information

Home school students enrolling in on-campus courses are expected to follow the same uniform and dress code standards as full-time students.
