Education Options
Each student is unique in their ability to learn, educational interests, and learning pace. Small class sizes and individually-focused curriculum allow the Woodruff Academy (WA) to provide the best opportunities for students of all ages and abilities to progress and to reach their personal potential. The result is that WA students typically score unusually high on standardized tests.
Summer Academy   New!
Classes from June 6 - August 5, 2011
Prepare your child for the new school year! Summer classes are designed for all students from 4 to 12 years old, and run from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM each day, Monday through Friday. Though classes are available beginning June 6, students may begin at any time afterwards, and enrollment is open all summer. If tuition is paid in full upon registration, you'll receive a 10% discount.
Additionally, if your child turned 4 by September 1, 2010, they may be eligible to attend for free through Florida's VPK program. For working parents, before and after care is also available from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM for an additional fee.
Please contact us for pricing and more information.
Preschool (VPK)
Four-year-olds who attend WA's morning preschool program get a valuable head start in their education. They learn basic math, reading, thinking, and social skills in a fun, engaging environment. And since it's a state-approved VPK program, it's free for families!
K-12 Campus School
Students meet at our beautiful Winter Park campus for classroom instruction. Additionally, there are field days, study labs, field trips and service projects to supplement classroom learning. Students may excel at their own pace, with individualized curriculum and instruction.
Home School Support
WA provides yearly assessments for home school students, and offers home school students access to on-campus
electives, field trips, prom, yearbooks, service projects, field days, and other educational opportunities that are difficult for those who home school to find.
